Yay! We went to see the Harlot at Borders in Brentwood on Thursday night. It was incredible. If you go here: http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/ (I'm too lazy and sleepy to make it a link) and look at the entry about Nashville, and then look at the third picture of the knitting crowd, you can see a tiny speck of a picture that is my mother -- look for brown hair and a pink shirt and a jean jacket (all speck-sized). I am there too, in the picture up from that, but we were in the back row and it's very hard to tell it's me unless you know exactly where to look because you, yourself, were sitting there.
She was grand. She autographed things. Several things. I am not telling what they were. One of them was my knitting gadget bag, which is autographed on the other side by Christine Lavin, who is also a knitter in addition to being a hilarious singer and songwriter.
Now, I just need Dar and Tracey Ullman to sign it...
I think I am getting sick again. I thought you'd want to know.

Posted by: Deb at April 14, 2008 07:32 AMOh, I knew you were there! I'm so jealous! I'd love to show her my mismatched-in-size first socks! She never comes out to Arizona, though. Except I'm sure she'll come to Tucson on her next tour, as soon as we move. Anyway, I need to call you guys soon and get house hunting advice. So expect a call.
LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
